How to Use & Care for Your Wooden Wick
Wooden wicks burn differently than cotton—treat it like a burning fire.
- Lighting: Hold candle at an angle when lighting; contact wick with flame for at least 5-10 seconds.
- The First Burn: Upon first lighting, allow wax melt pool to reach edge of glass before extinguishing to prevent wax tunneling. This may take at least 3-4 hours.
- Trimming: Before each use, trim excess burnt wood on wick to 1/8-1/4”. If not properly trimmed, the wick may not light, or flame may be too high.
- Flame Maintenance: If you notice the flame height getting too low after burning for an extended amount of time, it may be necessary to snap off any excess ash or burnt wood along the top of the wick. The flame will then return to its proper optimal height.
Directions for Use & Safety
Failure to follow instructions could result in fire hazards or injury. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn near things that may catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Do not burn for more than 4-5 hours at a time.

Just LOVE the scents Escape as well as Rainforest..natural..not flowery or spicy or overpowering.
Rainforest is milder than Escape. Both scents linger nicely, not too heavy, nor too weak to notice.

Very pleasant smell of essential oils. Last so long and didn't have tunnelling issues, when it is burnt long enough it will dissolve the edges, and I swirl the soy around it melts the edges. Nicely placed in kitchen and workstation.
Love this scent. Was really annoyed that I couldn't get the diffuser at the major supermarkets.
I really looked forward to getting the products. The sandalwood spray is the first product I got. It lasted so long! I had no qualms getting the others without trying them first. But oh boy the diffusers I got did not dissappoint! Will buy again.

I'm sorry to be blunt, but I've purchased 2 of the 300g Moss and Mint and although I really like the scent, these candles keep tunnelling for me. I consider myself an experienced candle lovers so I know the dos and don'ts on burning candles. I will not buy again.
Beautifully scented candle. It did tunnel (and I have used all of the trouble-shooting tips)...eventually I scrapped out some of the wax to try and get it to burn to the edges and that helped. Still a lovely product!

I have been trying a lot of soy candles from many different brands from Australia and international brands but I got suggestion from a friend of mine, who had been using a candle from Aesop. I came to Woolies to purchase it on the next day and totally convinced. The scent is amazingly refreshing and relaxing, smells like rain forest and moreover the price is very affordable even when it is normal price. I bought it when It was on sale and I will definitely comeback to buy the diffuser to replace my Jo Malone one.

This candle would have to be one of the best candles I have used and the Japanese Honesuckle scent hangs around for quite some time, not disappointed and will order more.
